Glemsford are lucky enough to have two police officers assigned to the village at the current time. We urge residents to inform the police of all incidents, however minor. If you need a message to be passed onto either of the police officers, please contact the Clerk and she will pass any messages on. If you need to report anything you can either call our resident beat officers - Den Mullet and Sally Smith on their voicemail (01284 774307) and leave a message or you can call the switchboard on 01473 613500. Alternatively, if your call is of on urgent nature, please do not hesitate to call 999.
Steps are being taken to try and reactivate interest in Neighbourhood Watch within the village. If you are interested in joining, please contact either Penny Molkenthin, who is the Babergh Community Watch Liaison Officer and is based at Sudbury Police Station, who can be contacted on 01284 774300, or Bob Richardson, who is Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator in the village.
